Common Uses: Organic Peppermint essential oil has long been credited as being useful in combating stomach ailments. It’s used as a home repellent to repel spiders, insects and to chase rodents away. It should also be noted that the active ingredient Menthol may crystallize in temperatures below 20 degree Celsius. The more menthol present, the greater it’s propensity for altering states. We recommend placing the bottle in a very hot water bowl, changing the water frequently and once it is back to the liquid state, you should shake the bottle before use.
Suggested Uses: Immune Booster – apply under your feet and both sides of your forehead daily. Take 2 to 3 drops in half glass of water 2 times daily to boost your immunity. Insect Repellent/Spiders/Ants – pour a half cup of water into a medium-size spray bottle, add 15 to 20 drops of peppermint oil, shake very well, spray around windows, doors, corners, and cracks. You can blend peppermint oil with thyme essential oil.
Safety Precautions: Keep out of the reach of children and do not use peppermint oil or any essential oil high in menthol on babies or children below 2 ½ years of age because of its sensitivity. Avoid contact with eyes. If pregnant or lactating consult your healthcare practitioner. Peppermint Oil is certified by the FDA as GRAS (Generally Regarded as Safe).
